Make a difference!!

Are you passionate about making a difference to those who are hungry or struggling to put food on the table in Liverpool today?  North and South Liverpool Foodbanks are looking to build a more reliable logistics system for the movement of food between donors of food, their central warehouses and food distribution centres.

We are looking to recruit a professional, reliable and well organised person to lead our logistical operation. We are looking for a driver who can provide 22.5 hours support spread across the week.  The role will be hosted and supervised by St. Andrew’s Community Network on behalf of North and South Liverpool Foodbanks

The right candidate will have an understanding of warehousing and a sympathetic view of Foodbanks as well as being a confident communicator. You will serve both ends of the city through our 20+ distribution centres as well as city-wide collections from partner organisations.

The role will be paid at £8.75 per hour.

Due to our insurance policy, you will be over the age of 25. You will hold a current, valid driving license and have previous driving experience. We also require a demonstrable knowledge of the values of foodbanks and how foodbanks work. We are looking for this person to help support volunteers and some vulnerable clients, so the successful candidate will also need to demonstrate their experience in this area.
